On September 28, the fourth new generation eco-friendly 50000DWT MR tanker “JAL DHVANI” built by YAMIC for Singaporean shipowner departed from the shipyard wharf and started her maiden voyage.

On September 24, YAMIC held a grand naming ceremony for the vessel. The godmother, Ms. Shreya Karnati, the naming sponsor, Ms. Upasana Bothra, Mr. Suresh Kumar, CEO of JALDHI, Mr. Richard Welch, Foreign Shipowner Technical Support Manager of LR, Mr. Song Shuming, Deputy General Manager of YZJ Group and CEO of YAMIC, as well as representatives from all cooperation parties and employees, attended the naming ceremony.

The godmother, Ms. Shreya Karnati named the new vessel “JAL DHVANI”, and then the naming Sponsor, Ms. Upasana Bothra, cut the string and tossed the champagne for the new vessel. Wish the new vessel and its crews to sail safely, bringing good fortune and wealth to the shipowner, and earning honor to LR and YAMIC.

At 1:30 PM on September 26, the “JAL DHVANI” was successfully delivered via electronic signature.
