Skilled master studio

In 2022, “Master Studio for Ship Welding Skills of Lu Minyuan” was granted by Suzhou Taicang Human Resources and Social Security Bureau. The studio has 4 technicians, 3 senior workers, 1 research fellow-grade engineer, 1 senior engineer, 2 engineers, 1 assistant engineer, and boasts ample talent and technical support. The establishment of the skills studio provides strong support for the company's welding technology application and R&D.

Self-inspection and Self-supervision

Guided by Japanese management, the company has introduced the Japanese self-inspection system. By using work guides, quality boards, self-inspection sheets, self-inspection videos to train employees, every employee is able to "Self-work, Self-inspect, Self-improve", and the one-off passing rate in third-party inspections has reached over 97%. Thanks to the steady quality improvement, the 2697# 82,000 DWT bulk carrier built under the company's independent quality control in 2022 was smoothly delivered without owner's onsite supervision, gaining customer’sgood reputation! In 2023, the self-supervision of 1407# and 1408# 82,500 DWT sister vessels are also in progress.

  • Technical Training Center

    The company has established a technical training center to manage technology "imparting, guiding and mentoring". Whole process management from skills appraisal, grading, pre-job training, classification society certification, multi-skilling, composite skills, and technician assessment is implemented for the major shipbuilding trades. Targeted theoretical and practical trainings are carried out to effectively ensure employees' overall technical proficiency.

  • Skilled Talent Competition

    To fully develop a technically proficient employee team, the company organizes skills competitions annually for various major trades based on quality management requirements, in order to discover and reserve talents. The cultural foundation emphasizing quality, skills and accountability also helps carry forward the spirit of craftsmanship and deliver top-quality vessels to customers.

  • Quality Training Center

    To provide new employees and specialized trades with a better learning platform, the company has built a specialized quality training center, which offers sites for theoretical and practical operation training on aspects like gas shipbuilding, precision control, electrical installation and control. Currently there are over 20 certified instructors who are experienced experts in various fields, conducting basic training for over 5,000 person-times annually.

Micro Course Development

The company places great emphasis on passing down skills and experiences, and has thus established a micro course development and training program. Valuable knowledge is accumulated and passed down through the compilation of training micro courses on aspects like design, production, quality inspection in the shipbuilding process by professionals.
