On April 7th, the second-generation wide-beam, shallow-draft 66000DWT bulk carrier “UM JIANGSU” (flying the flag of Panama) built by YAMIC for the Japanese shipowner was successfully delivered by electric signature.

The “UM JIANG SU” is the final vessel of the shopowner's 66000DWT bulk carriers series, this series includes totally six vessels. This vessel successfully completed her sea trial on March 21 this year, with all performance indicators better than the design standards. It measures 199.99m in length, 36.00m in breadth, 18.45m in depth with design draft of 11.20m, and was constructed in accordance with the rules and regulations of Class NK. It was jointly completed under the smooth cooperation of shipowner's on-site construction supervision team, classification society site team and shipyard site team.

At 14:08 on April 7, “UM JIANGSU” departed from the shipyard wharf and started her maiden voyage. Wish her a safe voyage, a full load and smooth sailing!
