On April 12, the second 40000 CBM Dual-fuel LPG/Ammonia Carrier "GASCHEM AMERICA" (flying the flag of Liberia) built by YAMIC for the Germany shipowner HARTMANN successfully conducted her signing ang delivery ceremony.

Mr. Ulrich Adami, Executive Director of the Board of HARTMANN, Mr. Song Shuming, Deputy General Manager of YZJ Group and General Manager of YAMIC, Mr. Shinichi Nakao, Assistant to the General Manager of YAMIC, as the representatives, signed the delivery documents.

Today we celebrate the naming and delivery of Hartmann's second 40000 CBM Dual-fuel LPG/Ammonia Carrier. First of all, we would like to thank godmother, Mrs. Ni Weifang, for taking the time to attend the naming ceremony of this vessel. Special thanks to the Hartmann team for their help and support, to DNV for their close co-operation with us, and to all the staff of YAMIC who have contributed to this vessel.

This is the world's second semi-refrigerated 40000 m³ LPG/Ammonia Carrier, and her older sister "GASCHEM EUROPE" has already proved the high efficiency of this environmentally friendly type of LPG/Ammonia Carrier. We are also proud to continue our new cooperation with YAMIC!

Godmother Ms. Ni Weifang named the new vessel "GASCHEM AMERICA" and knocked the champagne with a toast. Firecrackers and fireworks went off, whistles sounded, dragons and lions danced together. Wish the new vessel and its crews to sail safely, bringing honor and wealth to the shipowner.

"GASCHEM AMERICA" is the second 40000 CBM Dual-fuel LPG/Ammonia Carrier built by YAMIC, which is constructed in accordance with the rules and regulations of DNV. The construction period of the vessel is about 12.5 months, which is 3 months ahead of the contractual delivery date.

"GASCHEM AMERICA" started her maiden voyage on April 16th. Wish her a safe voyage, a full load and a global reputation.
