The 80000 DWT self-unloading bulk carrier “ALGOMA CELEBRATION” built for Canadian shipowner Successfully Delivered
On April 5, the 80000 DWT self-unloading bulk carrier “ALGOMA CELEBRATION” built by YAMIC for Canadian shipowner departed from the shipyard wharf and started her maiden voyage.



The “ALGOMA CELEBRATION” is the third vessel delivered in this series. It measures 229.00m in length, 32.26m in breadth, 20.15m in depth with design draft of 14.40m, and was constructed in accordance with the rules and regulations of ABS. The vessel conducted her massive steel cutting on February 13, 2025 and successfully completed its sea trial on March 1, 2026, with all performance indicators better than the design standards.

On March 31, Mr. Brad Scarbro, the shipowner’s representative, Mr. Song Shuming, Deputy General Manager of YZJ Group and CEO of YAMIC, and Mr. Yuji Ishimaru, CFO of YAMIC, jointly signed the delivery documents for the “ALGOMA CELEBRATION.” Wish her a safe voyage, a full load and smooth sailing!
