Delivery of 82500DWT Bulk Carrier "AIN AL KASFAH" Built by YAMIC for Japanese Shipowner.

On 4th July, the 82500DWT Bulk Carrier "AIN AL KASFAH", which was built by YAMIC for Japanese shipowner, departed from the quay of YAMIC and started its maiden voyage.This vessel is the second vessel of YAMIC's fourth-generation Kamsarmax series, with an overall length of 229m, a moulded breadth of 32.26m and a moulded depth of 20.15m. Through continuous optimization of the research and design, compared with previous generations, this new vessel design has been improved in terms of cargo capacity, fuel consumption and endurance. This not only creates better economic benefits for our customers, but also conforms more to the trend of energy saving, emission reduction and environmental sustainability.

On 3rd July, YAMIC held a grand naming ceremony for the new vessel. Ms. Miku Tachibana, Sponsor, Mr. Tae Kwon Kim, Vice President of ASYAD and Godfather, Mr. Keisuke Okouchi, President of Okouchi Shipping Co., Ltd., Mr. Yoshiaki Yoshizaki, President of Hiroshima Bank's Imabari Branch, Mr. Masakatsu Tsuru, General Manager of Class NK Shanghai office, Mr. Song Shuming, Deputy General Manager of YZJ Group and General Manager of YAMIC, Mr. Yuji Ishimaru, CFO of YAMIC, Mr. Koji Tamura, COO of YAMIC, Mr. Chen Guoqiang, Vice President and Mr. Shinichi Nakao, Assistant to the General Manager of YAMIC, as well as representatives from all cooperation parties and employees, attended the ceremony.

Godfather Mr. Tae Kwon Kim named the new ship as "AIN AL KASFAH", while Sponsor Ms. Miku Tachibana tossed the champagne. Firecrackers and fireworks went off, whistles sounded, dragons and lions danced together.

On 3rd July, Mr. Keisuke Okouchi, President of Okouchi Shipping Co., Ltd., Mr. Song Shuming, Deputy General Manager of YZJ Group and General Manager of YAMIC, and Mr. Shinichi Nakao, Assistant to the General Manager of YAMIC, signed the delivery documents of "AIN AL KASFAH" on behalf of all parties.
