At 9:10 am on January 17, YAMIC successfully delivered the second 66,000 DWT bulk carrier 'MEGHNA PRESTIGE' (Bangladesh flag) to the Bangladeshi shipowner Meghna. Meghna's representative Mr. Shahan Shah, YAMIC's representatives - Mr. Song Shuming, Vice President of Yangzijiang Group and General Manager of YAMIC, Mr. Chen Guoqiang, Deputy General Managerof YAMIC, and Mr. Shinichi Nakao, General Manager Assistant of YAMIC attended the signing ceremony.

The 'MEGHNA PRESTIGE' is the first vessel delivered by YAMIC in 2023. She started her first steel-cutting in May 2022. With the concerted efforts of the owner's team, onsite supervision team, classification society and shipyard, the vessel was completed smoothly within 8 months. YAMIC started a new year and new journey.

This order consists of 4 vessels. The first vessel 'MEGHNA VICTORY' was delivered on November 21, 2022. The 'MEGHNA PRESTIGE' commenced her maiden voyage in the afternoon of January 19. We sincerely wish her smooth sailing and prosperity for all parties involved.
