On December 18th, the signing ceremony of third 82,000 DWT Bulk Carrier "YANGZE 25” (Liberia) built by Yangzi-Mitsui for YZJ Shipping Center has been successfully carried out.

On December 8th, YAMIC and YZJ Shipbuilding Group. Shipping Center jointly held a grand naming ceremony for the new vessel. At the ceremony, Mr. Song Shuming addressed a speech on behalf of the shipyard; General Manager of YZJ Shipbuilding Group. Shipping Center, Mr. Fei Dongjing, addressed a speech on behalf of the Buyer.

Ms. Tan Naifen named the new vessel "YANGZE 25" and tossed a champagne bottle in a toast.

The guests took photos with the new vessel, visited on board, and wished the new vessel to have smooth sailing and full load for every voyage, bringing safety to the crew and wealth and honor to the shipowner and cooperation parties.

The 82,000 DWT Bulk Carrier “YANGZE 25” was developed by CS Marine. The design integrates the advanced concepts of MES, with safer, greener, more economical and competitive features, trusted by Japanese clients in the global market competition. 2222 is the 3rd 82,000 DWT Bulk Carriers that YAMIC has built for YZJ Shipping Center. It is also the 12th vessel to be delivered by YAMIC this year. "YANGZE 25" built in accordance with the rules and regulations of LR, cut the first plate on March 3, 2023, successfully completed the sea trial on November 23, delivered on December 18, the whole construction period of vessel was about 9 months. The vessel was built with the professional cooperation of Site Offices of both the owner and LR as well as the joint efforts of YAMIC's management team and all workers.

The "YANGZE 25" is scheduled to start its maiden voyage on December 19th and will be  operated by YZJ Shipbuilding Group. Shipping Center. As an important member of YZJ shipbuilding Group, YZJ Shipping Center has a mixed fleet of 33 vessels，comprised of dry bulk carriers, oil tanker, container ship, and multi-purpose vessel. So far, with a total tonnage capacity of 2.02 million dead weight tons.
